Specialized expertise and training
In Canada, employers are responsible for ensuring that their employees have the necessary knowledge and experience to perform their work safely, with the proper personal protective equipment.
VERTIKA: A leader of SPRAT in Eastern Canada.
The accident prevention program developed by VERTIKA is dedicated to worker safety. The implementation of this prevention program has made VERTIKA a precursor of SPRAT in eastern Canada. VERTIKA applies the guidelines for rope access work developed by this professional association. SPRAT is recognized by the majority of governmental agencies that enforce health and safety regulations in Canada and the United States. As a result, the techniques developed by VERTIKA, in conjunction with the health and safety training provided to its employees, subcontractors and its customers, make it possible to achieve and maintain the objective of zero accidents.
Expertise
Frédéric Audette, CEO of VERTIKA, is an engineer and member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, in addition to being a Level III supervisor and certified SPRAT evaluator.
His specialized experience in high rise construction work, in confined spaces, in rope access techniques, in lifting and rescue procedures, and in the design of fall protection systems make him a top resource for developing specific accident prevention programs and the drafting of work procedures. Most of his expertise was acquired in Québec, but also in Canada and the United States.
Frédéric Audette and his team offer support in the event of litigation with provincial agencies responsible for Canadian health and safety regulations.
